The first team composed of new and old members of the Rowing Club won the championship of eight rowing, the highest honor in the rowing competition. Because of the largest number of athletes, the requirements for the tacit understanding, rhythm grasp, physical strength distribution and technical details of the participating athletes were very stringent.
In the other 2 events, namely the quadruple sculls mixed and the men's quadruple sculls, the students from Tsinghua University High School won the championship and the second place, respectively. Since the establishment of the Rowing Club, its members have been adhering to the arrangement of physical training in winter and training on water in summer. They have overcome the constraints of time and geographical space and spared no effort in practicing skills and challenging themselves in the hot summer.
