Wang Jun, a Chinese teacher of special grade, was awarded this title in 2007. She was born in February, 1972, and was entitled "National Pioneering Chinese Teacher for Middle Schools", "National Innovative Teacher for Teaching and Reforming of the Chinese Subject", "Excellent Head Teacher in Beijing" and "Backbone Teacher in Beijing". Wang Jun has been employed by dozens of normal universities across China as an expert teacher for the cultivation of talents. Ms. Wang is also a part-time supervisor for postgraduate students, and the vice-director of Committee of Education and Science of China Association of Higher Education. She is the director of judges' panel for the first "Yu Can (Chinese and Participation) Prize", a national competition for excellent Chinese teachers. Wang Jun is the cover figure for a number of core Chinese periodicals such as Chinese Teaching and Correspondence, Chinese Teaching in Middle Schools, Education Digest Weekly, etc. She has won the first prize many times in the "National Classroom Teaching Competition". Among her 400 articles and papers published on national publications, 15 papers have been fully reprinted by Periodical Literatures of Renmin University of China. She has been invited as guest speaker in give lectures in Singapore and Hong Kong, which was very popular among local teachers, and her educational principle of "Chinese of the Youth" is widely influential across China.
