On July 21, 2018, the "My Folk Albums - Mainland and Hong Kong Youths Entering Shaanxi" Summary Sharing Meeting was held in Beijing. Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Hang Yuanxiang, Vice President of Tsinghua University High School, Bai Xuefeng, Minister of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Chen Aimin, Vice President of the Chinese National Folk Culture and Art Exchange Association (Hong Kong), Yu Zhaoke, and the exchange group of more than 100 students, teachers, parents, and the media participated in the event.

At the sharing meeting, the students expressed their shock when they personally perceived the folk culture with carefully selected and decorated photos, shared their re-recognition of traditional culture, and appreciated the profound friendship established with one another. In addition, the students performed two songs on the spot, namely "Below the Lion Rock" and "I Love You, China". One was in Cantonese and the other was in Mandarin, which was quite challenging for students from Beijing and Hong Kong. In order to practice these two songs, they used fragmented time and helped each other on the high-speed rail and the bus to ensure the final wonderful presentation.

“My Folk Album – Mainland and Hong Kong Youth Entering Shaanxi” was hosted by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and officially launched on July 15, 2018. On the same day, twenty-six teachers and students from Beijing and Hong Kong gathered in Xi'an, including five students from the Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wang Jinhui Primary and Secondary School led by Liu Zhanhong, five students from Hong Kong Kong Shengtang Middle School led by Li Xingjuan, and ten students of the 17th grade from Tsinghua University High School led by Jiang Yuwei. Among them, Tsinghua University High School students joined the event as volunteers and had participated in two training sessions organized by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation before the official start of the event.
During the seven-day cultural exchange activities, the students shared the folklore and recorded every wonderful moment with the lens. They visited the Hanyang Mausoleum Museum, the Terracotta Warriors Museum and the Shaanxi Folk Culture Museum to experience the history of China. They also listened to the Huayin Laoqiang Opera, watched the Ansai waist drum performance, and worshipped ancestors in the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor. In Beijing, they rode shared bicycles in Tsinghua University and sensed the profound heritage of Chinese culture in the magnificent palace of the Forbidden City. They also acquainted themselves with the life of Soong Ching Ling in her former residence in Beijing, lamenting the greatness of Chinese women. In China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People, the students experienced traditional Chinese craftsmanship such as printing, dyeing and sewing.

The sharing session on July 21 was a summary of this folklore trip and an in-depth study of the event. After the meeting, a theme birthday party was held for the students who celebrated their birthday in July. The whole folklore trip ended up with dumpling making.
