On August 29th, the national finals of 2019-20 China High School Basketball League (CHBL) co-organized by Nike rang down the curtain at Xi'an International Studies University. In the boys' final, Tsinghua University High School overcame Hunan Dizhi Middle School 70-55 to win its 13th title and finished the season undefeated. In the girls' final, Tsinghua defeated Yali Middle School 66-64 to win its 6th title and has won 19 consecutive games in the season.

At 16:00, in the final of girls’ basketball, Tsinghua met head-on its long-standing opponent, Yali Middle School. In the first quarter, Tsinghua had a good start with a three-pointer from Zhang Anqi. Subsequently, two teams competed with each other fiercely inside. In the third quarter, the strongest lineups from both teams took the field. Finally, Tsinghua won the game 66-64 and has kept its title. No.9 player Li Meitong wins the MVP of the game with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals.

At 19:00, the final of boys’ basketball between Tsinghua and Hunan Dizhi Middle School started on time. After the first quarter, Tsinghua took the lead temporarily with 18-5. In the second quarter, both teams began to score from perimeter shots. The game was in full swing, during which Tsinghua demonstrated extraordinary personal skill and outstanding tactical quality. Finally, Tsinghua won championship 70-55. No.15 player Zhangchen Zhifeng wins the MVP of the game with 12 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.
