From October 4th to 8th, the 29th China High School Biology Olympiad was held in Bashu Secondary School, Chongqing. Peng Chuyao, from G1813 of Tsinghua University High School, participated in the competition as a member of Beijing Team, and wins a gold medal. He is selected into the national team and has been recommended for admission to Tsinghua University.

The test time and question information of 29th China High School Biology Olympiad have been greatly improved compared to previous competitions. Including a 3-hour theoretical examination and a 10-hour experimental examination. A total of 8 students from Beijing participated in the competition and win 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals, which is the best result of Beijing in recent years.
