Chen Hong (the Yi nationality name, Eshi Aga), a history teacher of special grade, was awarded the title in 2005. She was born in April, 1964. She has been a teacher in Tsinghua University High School since she graduated from department of History in Huazhong Normal University in 1986. In 1995, she got a master of law's degree from Tsinghua University. During 1998 and 2000, she went to Kyushu University and Oita University in Japan for the government sponsored oversea training. She was hired by Ministry of Education as an expert of textbooks evaluation and training. Besides, she is a part-time educational researcher of Haidian Teachers Training College, leader of history group in Outstanding Teachers' Workstation in Haidian District, and current Executive Principal of Tsinghua University High School-Fengtai School.
She has been a guidance teacher for 14 years and has taught different types of classes in high school. The students in her class have made great achievements in college entrance examination, and some of them have taken the first place in liberal arts in college entrance examination in Beijing. She has explored so much in vocational development, and her pursuit is to be a teacher as a researcher. Her educational publications have won prizes in Beijing and Haidian District for many times. She has also participated in cross-cultural history teaching meetings in Japan and Korea on behalf of the middle school for many times.
She has taken part in compiling the Ministry of Education's new curriculum standards high school textbooks and teachers' teaching books. In 2013, she wrote History Teaching and Cultivation of Students' Thinking Ability in collaboration with her teacher, Yan Jiazhen.
She was awarded as the Academic Leader of History and Key Teacher of Beijing, Outstanding Teacher and Outstanding Class Adviser of Haidian District. She is willing to teach more students and inspire them to seek truth, and she is always willing to acquire more knowledge and stay true.
