Qin Hongming, Han Chinese, was awarded to be a mathematics teacher of special grade in 1999. He is the current Vice-Principal of Tsinghua University High School and the Executive Principal of Tsinghua University High School-Chaoyang School.

He graduated from Soochow University with a bachelor's degree in 1983 and participated in in-service training postgraduate courses in Soochow University during 1996-1998. He worked at Zhenjiang High School of Jiangsu Province from 1983-2001 and later came to Tsinghua University High School in 2001. Since then, he has worked as a director of Teaching Affairs, director of Teaching Department and the Principal Assistant of Tsinghua University High School. Qin Hongming has been working on teaching high school mathematics over a long period of time. His teaching style is very vivid and his teaching effect is remarkable. The students tutored by him have made great achievements in national mathematics competitions and college entrance examinations for many times. He was awarded as the municipal academic leader and the municipal young and middle-aged expert. Besides, he has won the Mao Yisheng Hometown Education Prize from China Science & Technology Development Foundation. He has over 20 publications on provincial and municipal leveled journals.
