Wang Yingmin, an English teacher of special grade, was awarded this title in 2001. He was born in May, 1954. He has been working at Tsinghua University High School since he graduated from Tsinghua University in 1977 and has worked on English teaching for more than 30 years. He graduated from Department of Philosophy in Peking University as a bachelor of law in 1989 and now works as a deputy director of Tsinghua University High School's Anniversary Office.
He has been a part-time educational researcher in Haidian District since 1985 and worked as the head of English teaching and research group during 1990-2009. He vigorously advocated "an experiment of middle school students well educated in one foreign language in high school stage" when he served as the group leader. He also studied and promoted middle school extra-curricular activities. Since 2005, he has been working as the leader of the English tutors' group in Outstanding Teachers' Workstation in Haidian District.
In 2002, he was hired as an academic committee member in Education Committee of Experts of China Association for Science and Technology. In 2005, he was hired as a committee member in Academic Committee of Beijing Education Institute. In October, 2005, he was hired as an academic committee member in National Basic Foreign Language Teaching Research Centre. In November, 2007, he was hired as a part-time master's instructor of Capital Normal University. In May, 2008, he was hired as a part-time tutor in Institute of Basic Education Development and Research of Capital Normal University. During September, 2009 and September, 2014, he worked as the Principal Assistant of Tsinghua University High School and the Vice-Principal of Tsinghua International School. In 2013, he was elected to be the vice chairman of the Creative Education Research Association of Beijing Education Institute. From October, 2014 to October, 2015, he was the person in charge of Education Centre of Tsinghua International School.
