On September 18, 22 teachers and students from Civico Liceo Linguistico Alessandro Manzoni (Italy) arrived at Tsinghua University High School (THUHS) to begin a 13-day cross-national school exchange. THUHS selected 20 students from Grades 10 and 11 to pair with their Italian counterparts for the cultural exchange. The event was attended by Principal Fang Yan, Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jie, and Vice Principal Zhou Jianjun. During the exchange, the Italian students had an immersive experience in Chinese family warmth and care, gaining a deep understanding of THUHS’s vibrant learning environment, inclusive teaching atmosphere, and the school’s campus culture, which is steeped in history and tradition. They also experienced the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture, further enhancing their understanding and appreciation of China.
