In the second "Master’s Campus Tour" activity held by Tsinghua International School, the school invited Caucher Birkar, a world-renowned mathematics master, winner of the Fields Prize and a professor of Yau Mathematical Sciences Center of Tsinghua University to give a keynote speech on the topic of "Mathematics and Life". All teachers and students of Tsinghua International School attended the lecture. Li Wenping, executive headmaster of the school, delivered an opening speech. Additionally, many parents watched the speech online.

Professor Birkar narrated his experience of how he embarked on the road of mathematics, how he spent years on painstaking efforts, and how he devotes his life in the exploration and pursuit of mathematical research. He encouraged students to put more effort in thinking, exploring and digging deeper into issues during their studies. He also wishes everyone would find their passion and maintain their enthusiasm for learning.
