Du Yuzhen, a politics teacher of special grade, was awarded the teacher of special grade in 2005. She was born in August, 1959 and is the current Vice-Principal of Tsinghua University High School. She is in charge of moral education section, taking responsibility for teaching and research activities and national research topics of the school, for instance, "On Cultivating Innovative Talents for Top-Notch University from Secondary School". She has been awarded as National Research Outstanding Principal, Tsinghua University Advanced Worker, Haidian District Education and Research Advanced Worker, Haidian District Outstanding Teacher, Tsinghua University High School Outstanding Communist Party Member, Advanced Individual in research topics of National Institute of Education Sciences during the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Five-year Plan, Advanced Individual in Evaluation on the Comprehensive Quality of Basic Education Students in Beijing, Outstanding Achievement Award of Outstanding Teachers' Workstation in Haidian District. She has been evaluated as the academic leader of Beijing, teacher of special grade of Beijing, first-batch expert of Ministry of Education's national training program, training expert of new textbook of Beijing, instructor of high school key teachers' ideological and political training class, group leader of politics instructors' group of Outstanding Teachers' Workstation in Haidian District, leader of politics group in Teacher of Special Grade Association in Haidian District and so forth. The politics teaching reference books and textbooks written by her have been widely used in Beijing and even the country. Some of her papers have won national, municipal and district leveled first prizes. Young teachers supervised by her have won many prizes in municipal and district leveled teaching competitions.
