Guan Jingsong, a history teacher of special grade, was awarded this title in December, 2014. He was born in April, 1968, and was entitled "Backbone Teacher in Beijing", "Academic leader in Beijing", "Part-time History Researcher in Haidian District" and "History Supervisor of Haidian Teachers' station". Mr. Guan won the first prize in the Beijing High School Teacher Basic Skills Competition, and his academic paper received the first prize the competition of National and Beijing Association of History, and many of his works got published by journals such as History Teaching, China Examination and Research, China Journal of Multimedia and Network Teaching, and Beijing Education and Teaching Research. He is dedicated to historical researches with an expertise in this discipline, focusing on the cultivation of the students' historical perspective and humanistic spirit. He has been working on the frontline of teaching senior three students, whose class all made huge academic progress. Guan Jingsong has also pioneered in the history teaching and research in Haidian and Beijing, making a great contribution to the history discipline.
